About Vagg-Williams
Started by Nick Vagg-Williams, built on a fairer way of working.
Vagg-Williams Painting and Flooring began trading in February 2026, when Nick Vagg-Williams left a national maintenance contractor to build a business that delivers a better service to clients — and fairer conditions to tradespeople.
How? It's simple, really: when clients call, they're speaking to the business owner. We use a network of tradespeople local to each project, minimising travel and cost. Overheads are low, with unnecessary admin eliminated — no layers of contractors, each adding their own profit margin.
Larger businesses carry profit margin policies, layers of expensive management, admin, meetings and approvals. Vagg-Williams offers a different approach: the focus stays firmly on the works and the people involved. No clutter — just results, at a fair price for client, business and tradesperson alike.
